Are you passionate about sustainability? Do you have a knack for understanding consumer behavior and trends in the world of consumer electronics? We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Category Manager to join our dynamic team at Reebelo, the fastest growing online marketplace for refurbished consumer electronics. As the Category Manager, you'll report to the Director of Category Management to play a crucial role in shaping and growing our marketplace's presence in this exciting industry.


Your typical day may include:

- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy for consumer electronics, aligning with overall business objectives and market trends.

- Product Selection: Curate and manage a diverse and high-quality assortment of consumer electronics products, collaborating with sellers and suppliers to ensure a wide variety of options for our customers.

- Market Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive landscape, conducting regular market research to identify growth opportunities, emerging products, and potential gaps in the market.

- Account Management: Analyze key performance metrics and sales data to track category performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth.

- Competitive Pricing Analysis: Working closely with our Vendor partners to ensure best in market pricing.

- Customer Experience: Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall customer experience, from product discovery to post-purchase support.

- Promotions and Campaigns: Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute promotional campaigns, sales events, and marketing initiatives to drive category awareness and sales.


We’d love to have a chat with you if you have:

- 3 years of experience in a comparable role.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or relevant experience in marketplace category management, or related roles within the consumer electronics industry.

- Based in the Bay Area or willing to relocate.

- Strong understanding of consumer electronics products, market trends, and customer preferences.

- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing category strategies that drive revenue growth.

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with sellers and suppliers.

- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.

- Experience with e-commerce platforms and marketplace dynamics, preferably within the context of consumer electronics.

- Innovative thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel for data analysis.
