What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Reedville Market Restaurant?
Reedville Market is one of the largest restaurants in the Northern Neck. The restaurant has been remodeled including the kitchen, dining rooms, bar, and back deck.
We are looking for an experienced bartender to join the team. You will work in a fast-paced environment in one of the largest bars in the Northern Neck, with a great base pay plus tips.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Verify identification and age requirements of customers
- Welcoming customers and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
- Mix traditional and creative cocktails
- Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
- Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers
- Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations
- Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
