Refined Gardens is the premier residential landscape construction company in Arizona and is now searching for a Construction Supervisor.
The Construction Supervisor is accountable to the executive leadership of the Company and is accountable for the Company’s success including the achievement of the Company’s goals and profit targets.
The successful candidate will also work with leadership to promote business development and growth and will have experience and capabilities in the following:
- Processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources.
- Developing and building teams by encouraging and building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
- Monitoring and controlling resources through effective oversight and tracking of spending for operational and project level budgets.
- Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself and others to make improvements or take corrective action.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations to ensure quality services to clients and our diverse construction partners.
- Ensure that corporate policies and programs related to procurement, contracts, and human resources are implemented on a daily basis.
- Provide leadership and meet with subordinate supervisors to ensure operational efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers to develop schedules, work plans, and staffing plans for projects. This will include the occasional need to be the Project Manager on a small project when the timing of our Project Manager staff is temporarily at capacity.
- Collaborate with the Pre-Construction dept. to ensure a smooth transition to operations through the course of construction and closeout, including identification, management, and mitigation of risk.
- Work with staff to prioritize workloads in order to meet project objectives.
- Foster and enforce a culture of safety ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws and regulations.
- Assist in vision and leadership by identifying new clients and opportunities.
- Ensure business objectives by providing direction and oversight to staff.
- Plan, develop, and implement strategies for generating resources and/or revenues for the company.
- Motivate employees and build effective interdisciplinary teams.
- Work with project teams to ensure adherence to project budgets and optimize processes to achieve greater operational effectiveness.
- Track revenue and profit goals for projects.
- Assist in preparing proposals for business opportunities.
- Establish and review performance metrics and ensure status is accurately reported.
- Build positive and productive working relationships with the customer base to ensure customer needs are met or exceeded.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers by addressing issues, questions or concerns in a timely manner.
Experience:
- 5 or more years leading and managing teams as a construction Operations Manager, Supervisor or Project Manager.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English in oral and written form.
