Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Full-Time Laundry Assistant. The Laundry Assistant will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facility, ensuring that all laundry-related tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and personal clothing items.
- Operate laundry equipment by safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.
- Inspect linens and clothing for stains, tears, and damages, and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to prevent the spread of illness and maintain a sanitary environment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
