We are looking for an Associate Program Manager to join Research Program Management. This person will play a key role in supporting the cross functional interaction between VI Next, Therapeutic Proteins, Protein Expressions, Velocigene and Therapeutic Focus areas through technology development as well as the drug discovery process. Using scientific expertise, specifically immunology, immune cell technology, animal modeling, antibody therapeutics, and project management knowledge and experience, the Associate program manager will coordinate cross functional teams within the broader Research group at Regeneron to support technology development to advance programs from early discovery through early clinical development. As an Associate Program Manager, a typical day might include: Executing programs with guidance; manages projects and tasks independently - with awareness of internal/external interdependencies Managing cross-functional teams to align and drive project or portfolio reviews and applies appropriate level of knowledge with a high degree of innovation and resourcefulness to influence projects or teams. Identifying and may championing resolution of critical gaps, risks, or issues, if any should arise. Collating key data that drive discussion and decision making through the discovery and drug development process Facilitating and leading communication between research areas and collaborators/corporate partners, including presentations for management and joint collaboration meetings. Manages and tracks reagent requests by submitting and tracking for VelociNext programs. Facilitate and lead communication between research areas and collaborators/corporate partners, including presentations for management and joint collaboration meetings. Providing guidance to project teams and/or other RPM members for their assigned programs. Managing and updating tools and program content to track projects and to promote a collaborative environment of scientific information exchange. Organizes and curates program-related content on SharePoint program sites and other relevant content and data management systems. Developing tools and mechanisms for monitoring progress and driving effective out of the box problem solving with cross-functional teams and area managers. Creating new processes with guidance, leads the development and gains alignment on process improvement solutions, informed by knowledge of technical/scientific challenges faced by the project teams. This role might be for you if: You have strong organizational, time-management, and presentation skills You are a quick learner and able to analyze scientific literature and data You excel in team building and communication To be considered for this opportunity, BS or MS degree in a related field with 7 years of relevant experience or a PhD in a related field with 2 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of molecular biology, protein structure-function, or assay development concepts is required. General knowledge with shared work environments and scientific programs and databases (eg. Pubmed, Uniprot, MacVector, BLAST, etc.) is a plus. You should have the demonstrated ability to strategically think around complex scientific principles. Have the ability to use previous hands-on experience and technical knowledge in areas including molecular biology, protein biochemistry or purification, cell biology or related research areas to effectively support cross-functional project teams. Prior experience in drug development is desired. This role requires you to be onsite four days per week on our Tarrytown campus. Does this sound like you?
