What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Principle position at Regeneron?
We are currently looking to hire a Project Principle on the Process Sciences Downstream Sciences team. This position will have a strong focus on strategic initiatives, project management, continuous improvement and enabling initiatives to drive to implementation. This person will work cross-organizationally to focus on many worthwhile initiatives that will innovate both lab and manufacturing scale operations. This team provides data and assessment for science, technology, and investigations and performs small scale studies related to production processes for biological drugs and intermediates.
As a Project Principle a typical day might include the following:
- Work within the team, department, organization, and global company to promote innovation and strategic improvement
- Participate in new technology initiatives and continuous improvement projects
- Organize strategic initiatives to help prioritization of most critical
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for large and complex project management and for Change Control processes
- Review studies, including DOE, perform statistical analysis of data, and present results in cross-functional meetings
- Use working knowledge of protein manufacturing, processing, and analysis to make sound technical assessments from small-scale studies
- Lead a small but skilled team

To be considered for a Process Sciences Project Principle position you must have a BS in Chemical Engineering, Material Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field, with 7 years of experience. We highly prefer background and experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical industry. Previous supervisory experience is required. Project management leadership can be substituted.
Level will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
