Job Responsibilities:
This position can primarily be performed remotely, but some onsite work is required.
- Running regular checks on network and data security
- Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
- Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organisation
- Designing training programsand workshops for staff
- Conducting regular system audits
- Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff
- Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
- Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget
- Providing direction for IT team members
- Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement
- Account management
Job Requirements:
- Client Accout management
- Strong understanding and direct experience managing Windows servers including AD, GPO, user profile management, etc.
- Strong understanding of network concepts including DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT, etc.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for servers, networks, workstations, and M365/Google/other cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of network, workstation, server, and cloud security best-practices.
- Scripting experience w/ PowerShell, Bash, etc.
- AWS and Azure experience.
- Careful attention to IT details and customer environments.
- Strong ability to work with different customers and to quickly move between different customer environments.
- Excellent personal organization skills with an emphasis on ticket management, note-taking, and calendar management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
