Clinical IT Specialist

Schedule:

  • 30 hours per week (eligible for benefits).
  • Monday-Friday. 3-4 days per week. 8-9 hours per day.
  • 8 person on-call rotation.

This role bridges the gap between clinical care and information technology (IT) in a hospital setting. This role leverages knowledge of both healthcare and IT to optimize electronic health records (EHR) systems, analyze patient data, and ensure technology supports efficient and high-quality patient care.

  • Two year degree, or equivalent experience, in computer programming/ information systems/etc.
  • Nursing education required
  • Registered Nurse, Licensed in the State of Iowa preferred
  • Child and Dependent Adult Mandatory Reporter Training required
