Administrative Business Partner
This is a junior/entry-level opportunity to demonstrate through interest and performance your ability to grow within a dynamic company. As an Administrative Business Partner, you're directly connected to Regional One’s business operations and activities, and the member of our team that keeps the business focused on moving forward. You anticipate the needs of leaders and help them stay focused on projects by following up and removing obstacles that prevent progress. Based on your performance, this role can lead to career-advancing opportunities in any of our departments or business units.
You will use your critical thinking skills to deliver customer centric (internal and external) service through assisting in daily office needs, but you will participate and complete complex assignments and projects, as well as proactively resolve issues effectively. This could include doing conducting research, preparing reports, handling requests for information, receiving visitors, arranging calls, and scheduling meetings.
You can rapidly shift with a fast-past, evolving environment and use technology to keep yourself and others pointed in a forward-thinking direction. You are highly organized and inherently analytical, you possess strong business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people and job functions.
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic business partner to multiple leaders across multiple departments, understanding their business needs with the ability to parse out what’s important for them short-term and long-term
- Track key project milestones and progress against personal, team, and company goals/targets
- Establish new—and improve existing—administrative systems and processes
- Support business planning through special projects, analyses, and presentation and communication creation
- Interact with leadership to understand projects, analyze, and complete tasks supporting strategic objectives
- Find opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness of planning and administrative operations
- Prioritize conflicting needs, handle matters expeditiously and follow through
- Identify operational weaknesses and help refine processes or develop new ones
- Gather and send pre-read materials, take notes and track action items
- Coordinate between multiple offices, time zones and remote teams
- Support the on-boarding experience and process for new team members
- Ask why, challenge the status quo when it stale or out of date processes are observed
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of direct executive support, administrative operations management, or non-technical project management
- Excellent time management and organization, with superb attention to detail and a strong ability to execute
- Able to quickly shift tasks and priorities and communicate shifts when appropriate
- Experience working across various roles and teams in a fast-paced, changing environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient
- Ability and experience needed to communicate, perform, and react well under pressure or ambiguity
- Enthusiasm for optimizing processes to make them more efficient
- Above reproach in handling sensitive information and situations with care and confidence
- Ability to anticipate and respond to the needs of others before they arise
- Experience in aviation, aerospace, commodities exchange or related business is a plus
