    Massabesic High School is located in Southern Maine, approximately 25 minutes southwest of Portland, Maine. The Unit is seeking a highly motivated NJROTC-certified Navy, Marine Corps or Coast Guard officer to fill the Senior Naval Science Instructor position effective July 1, 2022. Prior NJROTC instructor experience would be welcomed. The position is a 12-month contract at the Navy minimum. The unit has active drill, academic, and fitness teams. The unit is also very active in community service. Massabesic NJROTC enjoys strong support from the school, the administration and the community. The Unit was established in 1996 and is the only NJROJC unit in the state of Maine. Applicants must be willing to work after school and some weekends.
