What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager of Same Day Surgery (CRNA) position at Regions Hospital?
Surgical Services has a leadership opportunity for an experienced CRNA to join our team as the Manager of HealthPartners Same Day Surgery. We are an 8 Operating Room surgery center with a variety of services including general, dental, ENT, GYN, orthopedics and pediatrics and perform 6,200 surgical cases annually.
Under the Director of Surgical Services, the manager leads nursing care staff and Charge CRNA's in providing safe and evidence-based patient care, manages daily staffing using appropriate practices that support the delivery of safe quality care and fosters teamwork among staff by engaging staff in problem solving. This position monitors narcotic discrepancy reports, facilitates CRNA staff in resolution and education/coaching as appropriate, maintains and fosters open lines of communication between nrusing staff, medical staff and administration, provides work direction and operational support to Anesthesia Attendants and facilitates CRNA orientation and documentation.
Required Qualifications:
Graduate from School of Nursing AND Graduate from School of Anesthesia or Certificate of Anesthesia Program. Master’s degree required.- Three years current CRNA experience with two years of supervisory/management/leadership experience
- Licensed as a RN and APRN by the Minnesota Board of Nursing
- Certified by the NBCRNA
- CPR, at time of hire and every two years thereafter
