Cash Application Specialist

The Position: We are looking for a Cash Application Specialist to join our team!

This position is an on-site/in office opportunity.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2 year of accounting experience preferred
• Intermediate computer skills
• Proficient in the use of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office products with proficiency in Excel
• Thorough knowledge of general accounting processes and procedures

QuickBooks Duties and Essential Functions:

• Posting cash daily in ERP system
• Daily bank activity consisting of confirming funds, depositing check, etc.
• Process approved refunds weekly
• Run and distribute cash receipts report weekly/monthly
• Monthly bank reconciliations for all bank accounts
• Prepare and/or enter monthly entries
• Daily operational support to managers
• Complete enrollment applications
• Assist with bank conversations as it relates to Medicare, Medicaid and insurance payers
• Verifies EFT deposits with EOBs received
• Other projects and duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
