We are seeking an ambitious, experienced Operator-PEX Department for its manufacturing operations located in Cullman, Alabama
Responsibilities
- Run the production process according to the procedures and work instructions established
- Prepare and adjust the machine and tooling
- Monitor the production using controls and records to ensure quality production.
- Produce product to STAKA meeting quality requirements
- Troubleshoot the process as necessary to maintain quality and STAKA performance
- Assist in workshops to improve process
- Report issues and problems to supervision for corrective action
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Record production and quality results
- Work closely with the supervisor to establish goals for the assistant.
- Work closely with the assistant
- Setup material feed system. Maintain material feed system.
- Able to work second shift
- Work weekends as required to meet customer demand.
Qualifications
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to read and carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- Ability to analyze problems involving production and notify proper people.
Familiarity with the metric system
