You will-
Write well designed code following best practices with automated testing
Operations and maintenance of Data.gov websites
Triage security and compliance issues
Migration to cloud infrastructure
Operate within an agile scrum framework
Required Skills
- Experience building DevSecOps pipeline with build, deploy, automated testing and Security/vulnerability scanning.
- Experience developing in python is highly desirable (Python web framework along with python test frameworks)
- Linux system administration
- Containerization experience
- Cloud Computing experience
- Hands on experience deploying and supporting Kubernetes on at least one cloud provider (Azure, Amazon, GCP)
- Experience building and supporting distributed computing environments and Kubernetes cluster deployments
- Maintenance of SOLR/SOLR cloud instance
- Git/Github
- Experience with cloud foundry
- Experience with terraform
- Willing to learn new technologies and contribute as needed
- Ability to communicate and work well with others
Education: B.S. in Computer Science, or a related field
Location: 100% remote with 10% travel may be required
Clearnce: able to obtain Public Trust
