Job responsibilities
Assisting with patent and trademark submissions to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
Analyzing and processing communications related to U.S. and foreign patent and trademark matters and any other related correspondence
Monitoring USPTO accounts on a daily basis
Emailing USPTO actions to clients and reporting deadlines
Preparing letters to be sent to clients
Communicating with foreign associates about patent and trademark matters
Assisting attorneys with general work flow management
Experience
At least 2 years previous experience as an intellectual property assistant or paralegal is required.
Proficient in transcribing legal documents and correspondence
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Experience in project management and ability to meet deadlines
Strong communication skills
Pay range is between $60,000 and $80,000 per year depending on the experience and skillset of the candidate.
