Job Description:

Lexington or Columbia, South Carolina. Seeking a driven, independent individual who has at least 2 years of experience with payroll processing and client services. The candidate ideally would have exposure to different products within workers comp, retirement services, as well as a desire to get into account/client management and payroll service. In this role, you will provide quality client service by efficiently resolving issues and concerns in a prompt, professional fashion. We’re looking for someone with strong communication skills, patience, and a solutionist mentality.

In this role, you must:

  • Process payroll for multiple clients
  • Identify, troubleshoot and/or escalate data or program specified issues to the appropriate level of management.
  • Responsible for providing an excellent client experience by consistently delivering reliable and timely data.
  • Serve as an escalation point of contact for client questions/concerns and drive resolution toward a result that exceeds the client’s needs.
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of the payroll processing system, wage and tax laws to develop a trusted relationship with our clients.
  • Communicate with clients over the phone evaluating their needs and/or concerns.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of client service experience in a fast-paced environment (payroll ideally)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
  • Understanding of payroll tax law compliance
  • Accurate and dependable data entry skills
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, & Word
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to establish strong client relationships
  • Experience with Evolution a plus
  • Ability to handle stressful situations in a professional manner
