Position: TMS /qEEG Technician - Autism Treatment Specialist
Location: Lombard IL
Responsibilities:
As a dedicated TMS and qEEG Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy and quantitative Electroencephalography (qEEG) assessments for individuals within the autism population as well as those suffering from depression, anxiety, tbi as well as ptsd. Your key responsibilities include:
1. **TMS Treatment Administration:
- Safely and accurately administering TMS treatments to individuals on the autism spectrum.
- Monitoring treatment sessions and adjusting parameters for optimal outcomes.
- Maintain daily clinical notes for each patient session
2. **qEEG Assessments:
- Conducting quantitative Electroencephalography (qEEG) assessments for individuals with.
- Upload qEEG data to provide valuable insights for personalized treatment plans.
3. **Patient Assessment:
- Collaborating with clinical teams to assess the suitability of individuals for TMS and qEEG therapies within the autism population.
- Conducting pre-treatment assessments to ensure safety and efficacy.
4. **Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records of each TMS session and qEEG assessment.
- Providing comprehensive reports to the clinical team.
5. **Patient Support and Education:
- Offering support and guidance to individuals undergoing TMS and qEEG therapies
- Educating patients and their families on the TMS and qEEG processes, addressing any concerns or questions.
6. **Collaboration with Clinical Team:
- Working closely with psychologists, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for individuals.
Requirements: **
- Certification or training as a TMS Technician a plus
- Experience in with the autism population.
- Proficiency in conducting qEEG assessments
- Understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by individuals on the autism spectrum.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate care.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in TMS administration and qEEG assessments.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: $17.64 - $18.67 per hour
