What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oracle Database Administrator position at REJIS Commission?
Description
This position is to facilitate database development and administration in support of REJIS and customer’s mission criminal justice application services. We’re looking for a database professional having experience with database development and support. We build unique solutions that make a difference in serving the criminal justice agencies we support.
Requirements
- Two or more years of experience in database administration and design using Oracle Database version 11 and/or version 19C.
- Excellent understanding of SQL with experience in analyzing issues in existing stored procedures and functions.
- Experience with Oracle patching, database backup & recovery, capacity planning, and server migration.
- Familiarity with a database management tools such as Idera’s DBArtisan, Quest’s Toad, or Quest’s Erwin Data Modeler.
- Optional experience working with Oracle LogMiner and/or an understanding of DB Visit’s Standby database replication for Oracle, would be helpful.
