Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, diligent, and passionate Project Manager to serve as a key resource on our System Deployment & Support team. This Project Manager will be responsible for simultaneously overseeing and managing multiple deployment projects. The PM will have the sole responsibility that projects are completed on time, in budget and within defined scope. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in project management as well as a technical background. The candidate should be versed in hardware and software deployment, specifically in the technology industry. Construction and IP Camera experience are a plus.
- Work with the System Deployment and Support team to plan and coordinate various deployment projects
- Ensure projects remain in line with company's goals and deadlines.
- Engage and receive commitment from project stakeholders and team (internal and external)
- Create and maintain project documentation, project plans, & budgets
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs
- Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
- Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis. Oversee and manage project change orders
- Identify and manage issues as they arise with each project, including knowing when to escalate issues or consult with others as needed. Log and track all issues and see that all are resolved accordingly.
- Maintain a familiarity with Rekor’s technologies and products features/capabilities

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or other relevant field preferred
- 3-7 years of technical project management experience
- Experience working in a technical consumer products company
- Strong leadership skills as it relates to stakeholder and resource management

- Ability to shift priorities quickly and be flexible
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to take quickly process information and adjust plans and schedules
- Strong ability to collaborate and share information to ensure essential personnel are kept apprised of project changes
- Ability to interpret technical discussions and summaries from engineers
- Familiarity with product marketing and making market-related adjustments to product deadlines
- Must have or be able to obtain a CJIS Certification
