Job description

Essential Job Functions:

• Downsize pallets based on stop order and load company's product into assigned truck.

• Responsible for driving delivery trucks or vans in an efficient and safe manner.

• Deliver the company's products over established routes or within an established territory.

• Load or unload the merchandise at the customer's place of business. Be able to load and unload items weighing 50 pounds.

• Deliver the company's products inside of building (restaurant/grocery/institution) with assistance of getting into shelf.

• Develop and maintain effective relationships between the Company and the customer.

• Operate company vehicle in a safe manner by applying knowledge and skills in maneuvering vehicle at varying speeds in difficult situations such as heavy traffic, in climate weather, or in tight loading dock areas.

• Perform pre-trip, in-route and post-trip inspections on equipment. Ensure equipment defects are reported immediately.

• Have customers sign receipts for goods and receive payment for the merchandise if there is a cash-on-delivery arrangement.

• Promptly report all accidents involving driver or company equipment and any delays due to customers, breakdowns, weather or traffic conditions, or other emergencies, or any irregularities relating to pickup or delivery of freight

Our Drivers serve as a point-of-contact between the company and our customers and are responsible for providing excellent customer service.

• Drivers may go overnight delivery trip depends on assigned delivery area.

• Working Hour: 7:00am-4:00pm with overtime, Monday thru Friday. However, starting/ending time may change depends on the area of assignment.

• Drivers may start from 4am depends on assigned delivery area.

Driver’s must have:

• 10 years of Driving Experience
• Motor Vehicle Report
• Criminal Background
• Driver’s License (Front and Back)
• DOD Medical Card
• Drug Test
• FMCSA - Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (Driver’s Background)

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
