Reliable Healthcare Services is seeking a Health Resource Analyst I / Synar Coordinator in Carson City, NV.

The Synar Coordinator position is in the DPBH Carson City, Nevada office. This coordinator position will oversee the Synar requirement of the Substance Abuse Block Grant including writing the Annual Synar Report, monitoring underage sales, managing subawards, and fiscal management. Responsibilities include implementing retail strategies and point-of-sale interventions to address Nevada's tobacco retailer violation rate. The Synar Coordinator will serve as the liaison between the Bureau of Behavioral Health Wellness and Prevention and Nevada Tobacco Control Program to support tobacco prevention activities required by the Substance Abuse Block Grant and overall mission of the Tobacco Control Program.

Requirements (Education, experience and/or professional licensure)

  • Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, public administration, social sciences, or related field.
  • Knowledge of descriptive statistics and research methods utilized to analyze health-related data.
  • Analyzing and interpreting policies, procedures, and rules relevant to program areas

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.46 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
