Reliable Payments is seeking an energetic, confident Account Manager that will acquire and manage new merchant services relationships in Richmond to create custom payment solutions for businesses while providing local, hands-on service. As an Account Manager with Reliable Payments, you will have access to a proven training program, helpful sales tools, and on-going sales support.

Successful Account Managers will be well versed at generating their own leads in this business to business (B2B) environment, as well as creating and leveraging partner relationships to source new opportunities. These opportunities may be complemented by referrals obtained from working relationships you build and develop; along with those Reliable has with current referral partners and banking partnerships.

Job Requirements:

  • Prospecting for and running sales presentations that highlight the benefits of working with Reliable Payments.
  • Professional presence required and ability to effectively communicate our value proposition with business owners.
  • Excellent oral and written skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, personable, aggressive, energetic, and creative.
  • Ability to listen to clients, understand their needs and determine how we can help them achieve their goals.
  • 3-5 years: Prior experience in a quota driven self-sourcing sales environment for small to medium size clients.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving aggressive sales goals.
  • Technologically savvy; comfortable with tablet and cloud-based solutions and able to apply technology to help grow small businesses.
  • Strong cold-calling skills and ability to self-source leads.
  • Hunter mentality with drive to identify and close on opportunities.
  • Ability to develop a plan to effectively build pipeline and generate top line revenue growth.
  • Maintaining daily communication with Sales Manager.
