Summary:
Under limited supervision, coordinates with a variety of departments in the office and in the field for installs & repairs, assigns Service Orders, Trouble Tickets & Work Orders as needed; and performs related duties as assigned.
Essential Functions:
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Using radio and telephone equipment, dispatches field personnel, including emergency repair crews as requested by supervisors and managers.
- Maintains accurate plant/company records with an eye for detail utilizing IVUE software.
- Assigns and prepares Service Orders & Equipment prior to installs or repairs
- Schedules installs & repairs that come through Help Desk tickets or Customer Service orders.
- Assigns telephone services and features in the C15 Soft Switch
- Corresponds via telephone and email asking relevant questions and directs phone calls to other departments or individuals.
- Responds to customer service inquires and coordinates service response with appropriate division.
- Assigns work orders to field OSP personnel and aids in locating underground utilities on systems maps.
- Observes standard operating procedures and safety practices.
- Skill in working effectively under stressful situations.
- Skill in recording information accurately, using general office equipment such as telephone, copiers, and computers.
- Skill in working independently or in a team atmosphere.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, peers, employees, and members of the general public.
- Experience with IVUE software is a plus.
- Experience with C15 Soft Switch is a plus.
- Experience with Adtran DSLAM equipment is a plus
