Training Professional - Human Resources - $19.35/Hr
Closing Date: 5/9/2022
FT 40 Hr/wk Coordinates, tracks, and maintains training and compliance for 250 employees. Responsibilities include: building training plans, tracking attendance, certifications, and licenses in our electronic training system (Relias), assisting in Agency recruitment by attending career fairs, teaching courses such as FA/CPR/AED, participating in Agency Safety Committee, and other related Human Resources related activities.

Hours: Mon - Fri, First Shift
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Implements the Agency Professional Development Plan in compliance with regulatory entities (CARF, DMHAS; State & Federal) and makes changes as appropriate
· Instructs designated trainings to include, but not limited to, FA/CPR/AED
· Develops and updates trainings as necessary
· Utilizes and promotes technology for webinars, virtual trainings, and online trainings
· Populates the Relias with employee information and designates required training profiles consistent with employee’s role in the Agency
· Updates Relias program to reflect training attendance records, due dates, reminders, and registrations
· Coordinates and schedules Agency Mandatory New Hire and Basic Training Days including set up of technology, room reservation, refreshments, clean up, attendance sheets, materials, tests, and training evaluations
· Tracks, maintains, and ensures renewal requirements are met for professional certifications and licensures
· Runs reports for training compliance
· Supports Human Resources department in recruitment
· Coordinates Agency Intern Program and participates in career fairs with area colleges
· Coordinates and maintains trainings to be designated for CEU’s
· Maintains and promotes Agency resource library
· Participates in Agency Safety Committee and submits monthly drill forms for Human Resources
· Process tuition reimbursement per Agency policy
· Works with Agency Development Director to market designated trainings to outside entities; coordinates and prepares materials and invoices for trainings
· Submits monthly Agency P-card requisition for Professional Development
· Prepares training section for CARF accreditation
· Engages in continuous efforts to access, obtain, and respond to pertinent Agency information/communications, and disseminate as appropriate
· Other responsibilities of Reliance Health staff, such as participation in Agency events, adhering to Agency policies and procedures, training requirements, and other job-related duties as assigned
· Provides working conditions that maximize safety for staff and members
· Performs duties while demonstrating Agency Core Competencies and Values
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or in a related field
- Two or more years of previous related work experience required
- Experience supervising others preferred
- Valid CT Driver’s License, vehicle registration, and insurance
- Good driving record
