Job Responsibilities And Requirements

This role serves as the first point of contact for all visitors to Reliance and is expected to greet all guests with a friendly and informative welcome. As a member of the Human Resources team, this position also provides a variety of administrative duties in support of the HR Department.

Monday through Friday role. Monday-Thursday in office and Friday remote

Receptionist

  • Greets all guests and determines the purpose of each person’s visit
  • Supports the CEO and CFO in coordinating high-profile client and broker visits, including greeting the guests, room set-up and organizing catering as needed
  • Notifies Reliance personnel of visitor’s arrival
  • Responsible for issuing visitor badges as needed and ensuring that they are returned upon exit
  • Administers the process for ordering flowers across the enterprise
  • Directs package deliveries to the Office Service Department
  • Responsible for handling calls coming to main number and redirecting call to appropriate department
  • Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

HR Assistant

  • Monitors and schedules training rooms
  • Distributes incoming mail to the appropriate HR team
  • Assists in processing invoices for the HR Department
  • Assists in coordinating HR projects (e.g., meetings, trainings, events, etc.)
  • Books meeting rooms for HR team events
  • Orders catering for HR team meetings and HR sponsored events
  • Assists Good Company committee with event coordination
  • Provides clerical and administrative support to HR colleagues

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And/or Related Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in an office environment
  • Excellent communication skills including telephone and in person
  • Possess strong people skills and highly customer service orientation
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Proficient with Microsoft office products
  • Strong follow through and organizational skills
  • Adaptable to a quick pace with highly developed time management skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Must work well in a multi-task, team-focused environment

Ability to Travel: None

Work location may be flexible if approved by the Company.
