EHS Manager Responsibilities:
Seeking an EHS Manager to monitor EHS performance, identify risks, areas of improvement, conduct and manage EHS audits and on-site inspections to identify EHS workplace hazards
- Manage investigation of EHS incidents, prepare reports and recommendations, implement waste management programs, develop and drive EHS trainings, manage relationships with community of EHS stakeholders
- Research, evaluate and recommend changes to improve EHS performance
- Provide expertise and advice on EHS issues to area managers and plant managers
- Eliminate the risk of occupational injury and illness, and environmental non-compliance in a manufacturing environment
- Implementation of EHS systems according to norms ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and OHSAS
- Maintain relationships with the community, EHS groups, or other stakeholders impacted by the EHS performance of the organization
- Coordinate compliance audits, inspections, including insurance inspections
- Ensure all new equipment meets all legal requirements
- Manage the plant’s occupational health provider. Set the standard and cultivate the EHS culture in the plant
EHS Manager Job Requirements:
- MUST be Technically sound, have the ability to work with a big team in various aspects and be Process Driven.
- 5 year’s experience in Automotive
- Quality System: Understand, apply, and meet all function-related Quality, EHS, and Product Safety requirements
- Compliance: Understand, apply, and meet all function-related Compliance requirements
- Information Security: Understand, apply, and meet all function-related IT / Information Security and confidentiality of the company’s information requirements
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures
- Employee must have the ability to work additional hours and / or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time
- Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers, and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels
- Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote)
