ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The incumbent will perform daily administration of the network servers and critical network systems. Duties include SQL database maintenance (New accounts, backups, DB creation) daily checks of server event logs, IIS configuration to meet security requirements, backup of servers and user files with a robotic tape library, maintenance and management of the VMware environment and servers. Ensure desktops and servers are patched to the latest required standards, provide technical support to staff for computer and network issues. Will also assist in the daily management of users and resources, perform anti-virus management for network systems, perform routine testing for patch and system configuration changes, implement and maintain cyber security requirements, Must be able to work in a team environment or independently with little supervision. Advanced troubleshooting and problem solving skills are essential.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS in Information Technology or 5 years of experience. CompTIA Security certification is required within 60 days. Four or more years of experience in network/systems administration. VMware, MS SQL, IIS, and Backup Exec experience desired. Demonstrated experience and/or working knowledge of Microsoft Server OS, MS SQL, IIS, Windows 10, Symantec Backup Exec, or other backup solutions. Experience with VMware Hyper converged Infrastructure is a plus. Must be able to perform server rebuilds as well as research and implement new systems. DoD Information Assurance experience a plus specifically in the areas of IAVA and STIG evaluation, application, and management.

GENERAL DUTIES: Manager must provide leadership and technical guidance to the Cyber Security group to include daily taskings and annual goals. Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations. Manage all IT systems to include major IT projects, updates/upgrades, and outages. Requires the ability to read and interpret written information and effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

OTHER DUTIES: Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor as necessary to support contract/mission support requirements in job-related areas.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Secret security clearance. Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. All selected candidates must undergo and successfully pass a background investigation and drug test as a condition of placement into this position. Supports E-oms operational objectives. Observes company Quality, Safety, Environmental, Security and Administrative policies; supports Process Improvement.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work activities are normally performed in an environmentally controlled area.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position will be subject to substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Must be able to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; and requires very little lifting or moving of heavy objects or materials and require very little lifting or moving of heavy objects or materials. May require sitting for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 30 pounds and sit at a workstation for long periods of time.
