This starts as a CONTRACTOR (1099) position. This role can be transformed into a W2 employee role dependent on job performance over a period of time
**Compensation**
This is a 1099 position, and compensation will be commission-based with the potential for bonuses and monthly residuals based on performance. This is focused on the world of Merchant Services where you will be consulting a merchant on best practices along with implementing any new hardware or integrations so having a background here will be a major plus to levels of compensation possible.
Job description
As an Account Executive at Reliant Merchant Services, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by acquiring new clients and fostering relationships with existing ones. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, self-motivated individual with a passion for sales and the financial technology industry.
Responsibilities:
1) Sales Prospecting and Acquisition:
- Identify and target potential clients through proactive prospecting efforts.
- Conduct effective sales presentations to showcase Reliant Merchant Services' offerings.
- Drive the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals.
- Experience with Cold-Calling or Door Knocking is a plus.
2) Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet their unique requirements.
- Provide ongoing support and serve as the main point of contact for clients.
3) Product Knowledge:
- Stay updated on Reliant Merchant Services' products and services.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients.
4) Market Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
- Use market insights to adapt and refine sales strategies.
5) Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and support for clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share insights and best practices.
6) Goal Attainment:
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, results, and challenges.
Qualifications:
1) Proven Sales Experience is a plus but not required.
- Demonstrated success in B2B sales, preferably in the financial services or merchant services industry. Goal results could differ with experience level.
2) Excellent Communication Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
3) Self-Motivation:
- Proactive and results-oriented with a high level of self-motivation.

Here is what the role would entail for you on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Daily Objectives.)
- Reporting in your CRM with Cold, Warm, and Hot Leads that you created
- Communicating with Leadership on input and lead status
- Communicating with Leadership on what YOU may need from us.
Weekly Objectives.
- Networking opportunities to grow brand awareness and building relationships
- Cold-Calling 100-150 new touches every week (This can be calls, direct messaging, visits, networking, Etc…
- Follow Up, Follow Up, Follow Up with all qualified leads you cultivated
- Communicating with Leadership at the end of the weak of positives, negatives and what your next week will look like
Monthly Objectives
- Meet the goals set by Leadership
- Communicate to Leadership the help you need to meet the goals set.
- Closing MID’s that create an ARR of $50,000 each month
- Read/Learn a new book that is either sales related or self-improvement along with Non-Profit if you want. This will be communicated at the end of the month as a “Book Report”
