Dispatcher

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dispatcher. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the transportation and logistics operations for our company. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Scheduling and Routing: The Install Coordinator is responsible for scheduling install appointments and efficiently routing technicians to various job locations. This involves considering factors such as technician availability, proximity to the job site, and urgency of the request and who is best suited to perform the job.
• Assigning Technicians: Dispatchers/Install Coordinator need to match the right technician with the specific job requirements. This involves considering factors such as the technician's skills, experience, and availability, as well as the nature of the plumbing issue.
• Timely Communication: Dispatchers/Install Coordinator play a crucial role in maintaining communication between customers and technicians. They keep customers informed about the status of their service request, including estimated arrival times and any delays that may occur.
• Problem Solving: Dispatchers/Install Coordinator often need to think quickly and creatively to resolve scheduling conflicts, unexpected emergencies, or customer complaints. They must be able to adapt to changing circumstances and find solutions that satisfy both the customer and the company.
• Creating P.O.s when needed, updating P.O. spreadsheet
• Calling line locates prior to excavation. Scheduling excavation when necessary.
• Permits: Checking sold work, pulling permits for different jurisdictions/municipalities. Scheduling inspections with homeowners/businesses. Updating permit spreadsheets and communicating with plumbers regarding inspections when needed.
• Other duties may arise from time to time and may be assigned to the employee to meet the needs of the business.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
