Direct Support Staff

Rellysworld Support Services is currently seeking professional compassionate individuals for the position of Direct Support Staff in our Supported Living Services,(SLS).

As a Direct Support Staff Professional (DSP) , you will be assigned to an individual with ♿ developmental disability. You will provide assistance and teach them on how to complete their day-to-day tasks at home such as (but not limited to)--
* personal care tasks
* toileting assistance
* housekeeping tasks
* meal planning/prepping/cooking
* transportation to their appointments/errands
* be a trusted companion for our individuals who will look up to you for guidance.
*You will also complete administrative responsibilities such as electronic submission of progress notes, attendance (clocking in/out), checking your work Email daily, and etc.

The right candidate should meet these

• Have completed DSP 1 or/and 2 (Preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
• Have reliable transportation *One to two years’ experience working with people with developmental disabilities.

• Ability to lift/push/pull 50lbs.
• Ability to work on holidays and during inclement weather.
• Have basic understanding of how to use a computer/ smart phone for documentation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.50 per hour
