We are seeking a talented Business Development Executive to join our team and help us take our trade shows (Vision Expo, JCK, National Hardware Show, PGA Show, Bar Convent Brooklyn, and many more) to the next level. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and developing creative solutions to meet their needs. You will work closely with our marketing, customer success, and operations teams to support you and your clients’ needs. What can you expect from us? A supportive and fast paced working environment. Responsibilities: Respond to inbound leads in a quick timely manner Maintain pipeline and log activity appropriately in Salesforce Identify the needs and challenges of the prospective customer to customize package Prospect new accounts via cold call, email, and social strategies (LinkedIn Sales Navigator) Utilize sales strategies and available sales tools to meet revenue targets Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their success and satisfaction Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing deals Monitor and report on market trends and competitor activity Participate in trade shows and industry events to build brand awareness and generate leads Requirements: Any experience in business development or sales, preferably in the trade show industry Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent organizational and time-management skills Have excellent communication and relationship building skills  Entrepreneurial spirit and a hunger to learn and grow Positive attitude with a willingness to accept constructive criticism and implement change Occasional travel to events in the US Bonus Qualities:  Experience in the trade show industry or adjacent field Experience using a CRM, specifically Salesforce Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator Strong problem-solver with a solution-based mindset Charismatic and not afraid to try new things  Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work  #LI-LP1 We are an equal opportunity employer: qualified applicants are considered for and treated during employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, citizenship status, disability status, protected veteran status, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law.
