About the Role You will create and secure qualified business opportunities to retain and help generate new revenue. You will Identify qualified prospects and navigating company structures to pin-point key decision makers. Responsibilities Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales development goals Identifies and qualifies opportunities, develops a pipeline of viable opportunities and effectively manages the pipeline with the account team, including timely follow up of all leads and advancing leads into the selling process Prospect for new business through a high volume of cold calling, emailing, and following up with prospects as previously identified Learn, understand, and apply the Lex Machina value proposition and our world-class business processes. Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of Lex Machina products, content and solutions including the ability to articulate competitive differentiators and our value proposition Ability to identify and communicate effectively with key contacts within a customer’s organization Collaborates with other Lex Machina sales team members to secure new business; Provide input in conjunction with account team on development of Marketing plans and programs to maximize goals. Other duties as assigned Requirements Have good lead generation or inside sales experience Be a great listener, quick thinker, and the ability to work solo and as a team Have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience Have solid verbal and written communication skills Be detail orientated with the ability to follow defined processes Have solid time management skills Demonstrate the ability to use Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.) Salary range $32,000 base plus 12,300 target commission (annually, broken down and paid out monthly) Based in Silicon Valley, Lex Machina is part of LexisNexis, a leading global provider of legal, regulatory and business information and analytics that help customers increase productivity, improve decision-making and outcomes, and advance the rule of law around the world. The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for California.
