We are seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer to join our Community Development department in Providence, RI and work as a member of a team on projects including land development; urban infill and redevelopment, municipal projects, mixed-use commercial/residential, educational facilities, permitting, and more.

Key Responsibilities
Under the general direction of senior engineers and project managers, this professional will support all aspects of land development engineering projects. Responsibilities will include detailed site design (e.g., layout, grading, utilities, erosion & sediment controls, etc.), assisting in the preparation of site plans and details; designing stormwater management systems; conducting field work; construction oversight; and assisting in report and permit writing activities.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Typically requires 0-5 years' relevant experience; internship experience will be considered in lieu of relevant work experience
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with construction oversight and/or field sampling is a plus!
- EIT registration preferred
- Proficiency using AutoCAD; HydroCAD experience a plus!
