Medical Assistants needed in E-town & Clarkson- ASAP
Wage is based on experience $15-$17.50
Work schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30/5pm
JOB includes:
- Phlebotomy & labs
- Perform urine screens, takes vitals, assist with patient evaluations.
- Call in RX orders and speak with MD & pharmacist
- Chart in EMR systems
- Assisting the counselor and/or provider when needed
- Answering in-coming calls and checking voice messages regularly (when the front desk needs help).
- Check patients in/out, monitor patient flow.
- Call in patient medication as directed by Physician.
- Input accurate patient information into electronic health record.
- Review the Prescription Monitoring Database.
- Provide education and resource information regarding medication.
- Multi-task clinical to clerical
- Take specimens to the lab for processing (urine & blood)
