ROLE PURPOSE:
A Server’s main goal is to provide stellar service for guests, ensuring an indulging experience that keeps them eager to return. Servers provide the vital link between guests and the kitchen. They accurately take food and beverage orders, relay orders to kitchen for preparation, and deliver prepared food and drinks to guests while providing superior guest service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Be proactive with greeting all guests in the theater before their request for service
• Answer Plex Call System in a timely manner to further assist guests
• Embody Nice and Amazing Service by following all In Seat Dining procedures
• Guide guests through the menu and suggest promotions, add-ons, or upselling, demonstrating knowledge of menu
• Demonstrate Passion, Commitment, and Integrity at all times by running food and beverages, bussing trays and cleaning seats, and helping other team members whenever possible
• Ensure all food orders are inputted rapidly and accurately in point of sale system and check back with guests to ensure they have received their orders and everything they need to enjoy their meal and drinks
• Process all payments correctly and responsibility and returning to guests at appropriate time to limit disruptions to the films
• Implement alcohol service and safety training, including not over serving an intoxicated guest and do not hesitate to ask for management intervention if necessary
• Process daily server paperwork accurately and timely
• Check guest’s identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
• Navigate guest complaints and assist with requests or direct them to proper resource if unable to assist
• Assist with crowd control and seating of guests as needed
• Inform management of guest complaints and or maintenance requests
• Complete all opening, mid and closing procedures- including but not limited to side work
• Attend and participate in trainings and meetings
• Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• Must be 18 years or older. Refer to state law requirements
• 1 years of full-service serving experience
• ServSafe and Alcohol training certifications preferred or must complete training and certification provided by Cinépolis prior serving
• Ability to work with Vista Point of Sale System and perform basic math.
• Exceptional guest service orientation
• Equally comfortable communicating and working with guests, peers, subordinates, and supervisors
• Standing, walking, lifting, twisting, bending and traversing stairs on a frequent basis
• Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends
• Is organized and able to prioritize in a fast paced and constantly changing environment while maintaining a smile and positive attitude
