What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host position at Renaissance Hotels?
Responsibilities:
· Promptly greet guests as they enter the restaurant, seat guests at desired table.
· Answer restaurant phone calls and enter reservations into reservation system.
· Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting. Promptly and consistently reset all service ware.
· Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments.
· Serve guests with beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary.
· Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
· Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Standing, speaking, hearing, able to carry between 20-40 lbs., walking, lifting, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, bending and able to walk stairs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
