Overview
The Telecommunications Analyst II assists the Telecom Lead in all telecommunications activities in accordance with organization policies and procedures. The Telecommunications Analyst II provides technical support for voice services and customer training of the telecommunications features and functionality.
Location listed is preferred office location but other locations and working remotely within the Renasant footprint may be considered based upon convenience and business necessity.

Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and developing telecommunications systems
- Assist with the day to day support of Renasant Banks Hosted telephony network, including but not limited to our Hosted VoIP phone system, Contact Center applications, Voice Mail, MRA, E911, Call routing, IVR, Analog lines, PRI, Call reporting and Call recording
- Review, analyze, and maintain the organization’s telecommunications system
- Conduct feasibility studies for projects as needed
- Lead telephony systems projects of moderate complexity. Specific to Branch Opening and closings, phone replacement/refreshes, and large MACD’s.
- Troubleshoot telecommunications hardware and software applications and coordinates repair as needed
- Upgrade hardware as needed
- Provide Level Two mobility and telecommunications service support
- Procure voice and data services
- Participate in after hours support
- Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred (or equivalent years of directly related experience will be considered)
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience with telecommunications systems and software, network cabling, small tools, and standard office equipment
- Cisco Call Manager and UCCX experience. Other Hosted and PBX Experience will be considered
- Must have a strong work ethic and be thorough in documenting changes and processes in completing tasks start to finish
- Experience which demonstrates skills in problem solving, time management, and the ability to work on more than one project/task simultaneously
- Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database techniques
- Ability to analyze, install and maintain telecommunications equipment and mobile devices
- Ability to organize work effectively and efficiently
- Ability to work with minimal supervision at a proficient and productive rate
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to write reports for presentation to management
- Ability to interact with other employees and management
- Exercise mature judgment with a high degree of integrity and professionalism
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of all information
- Ability to travel on a limited basis including overnight travel. This may include the use of the employee's personal vehicle
