Job Posting for Breakfast Attendant - Wine Valley Inn, Solvang at Reneson Hotel Group
The Wine Valley Inn has an immediate opening for a part time Breakfast Attendant 6am to 2:30pm, Sunday through Thursday The Breakfast Attendant sets up the breakfast buffet, monitors quality and quantity, replaces items as needed, clean and bus tables and area as needed, preps for the following day, cleans kitchen and washes dishes. This position has heavy guest contact, so good clear communication skills are needed. Must have or be able to obtain the Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicant should possess basic math skills.
Applicant must be able to reach, bend, stoop, frequently lifting up to 20 pounds.
Applicant must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
Applicant must have or be able to receive the Food Handler’s Certification card within 30 days of employment.
Applicant must be able to communicate and understand English, for guest requests.
Applicant should have an outgoing personality to interact with guests.
Applicant must have neat, clean appearance.
Applicant must be organized.
Applicant must work well with little or no supervision.
Applicant should be knowledgeable about area and local attractions.
While performing the duties of the job, the applicant will be regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and talk or hear.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
