As a Billing/Coding Specialist with Renew Health your duties may include, but are not limited to the categories and associated items listed below:
- Claims submission.
- Utilizes the electronic health records system to submit, process and post all claims and copayments
- Communication with health insurance payers for claims, status and denials.
- Ability to handle medical billing efficiently
- Reading and interpreting health insurance EOB's (Explanation of Benefits).
- Fulfilling medical records requests and additional information requests from health insurance companies, and patients.
- Consistent followup on unpaid claims.
- Experience with DRG, CPT coding, ICD-9, ICD-10, and ICD coding
- Certification in Medical Billing and Coding would be a plus
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 24 per week
