What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern Mechanical Engineering- Transmissions position at RENK?
Job Description: The transmission mechanical engineering intern will be working on tasks in support of the staff mechanical design engineers. The goal will be to give them a solid introduction to the roles and responsibilites of a mechanical design engineer, and allow them to complete and report out on their own project during the course of their internship.
Essential Functions:
Transmission or gear box engineering tasks in the support of the mechanical design engineers on the team.
Blueprint checking
Test cell work
Data collection
Transmission failure analysis
Minor design work & analysis
Qualifications: Enrolled in an accredited BSME program with a Jr. or Sr. status and a minimum of a 3.0 GPA. Good verbal and written communication skills. Microsoft Office Application. Preferred Additional Skills: Creo modeling GD&T Minitab RENK America is an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V
