Position Summary
The Production & Game Entertainment Coordinator is responsible for creating and editing graphic and video assets, assisting with planning and scheduling game-day entertainment and promotions, and running control room equipment
Essential Duties
Work with the Production and Game Entertainment Manager on all necessary duties
Create video and graphic assets for use for Reno Aces home games
Load content into ShowControl, Venus, NewBlue, and Click Effects software
Operate video board, ribbon board, stadium audio and camera equipment
Film, cut and edit video content for the use on social media and the video board
Assist with building out game and event scripts
Run and call the show as needed
Work with several different departments throughout the season to contribute to staff projects
Contribute ideas during staff brainstorming meetings and assist in implementation
Staying up to date with current events, news, sports, and pop culture so as to keep our fan experience relevant
Work with marketing personnel with other duties as necessary
Book talent and entertainment for game related events such as National Anthem performers or talent acts and entertainers
Assist with the scheduling of gameday staff
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Knowledge and experience with the Adobe Creative Suite
Commitment to working Aces games and events as required
Baseball knowledge is required
Must have an awareness and understanding of the game and its rules
Previous experience with sports or event marketing is preferred
Highly organized and quick learner
Passionate and enthusiastic individual excited to work in a team setting
Strong ability to work effectively and well with others in a high-pressure environment
Computer skills in Microsoft office suite
Knowledge of Daktronics, Venus, and NewBlue, and Click Effects software a plus
Previous experience shooting professional or collegiate sports a plus
Work Environment
Work in fast-paced environment
Must be able to attend pre-game production meetings (90 minutes prior to first pitch)
Commitment to working approximately 40 hrs/week and may include nights, weekends, and holidays
Flexibility to work long hours, evenings, and weekends
Minimal travel required
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lean, and crouch comfortably
