Renold, Inc, based in Westfield, NY, is the leading entity of the Torque Transmission operating division. Renold, Inc manufactures and depelops industrial couplings, from fluid couplings to rubber-in-compression and rubber-in-shear couplings. We specialize in the manufacture of custom gear spindles and gear couplings for the primary metals industry. We are experts in providing bespoke coupling solutions across industries worldwide such as power generation, rail transit systems, metals and material handling.

This Jr programmer works cosely with the senior programmer and engineering department. The ideal candidate will have prior experience or relevant training related to programming CNC equipment for machining operations

• Programming CNC machines from models using EDGECAM software
• Programming CNC machines with multi axis and live tooling capabilities
• Interpretation of models and blueprints
• Development of routings and sequence of operations for the plant floor machining operations
• Coordination of tooling used to preform programmed machining tasks
• Attend periodic training seminars to remain current with evolving technology

Key Competencies:

• Ability to read and understand complex models and blueprints
• CNC Programming ability with CAM system software
• Basic Understanding of machining principles
• Complete understanding of modern machining principles
• Proficient with MS Office and other related software
• Works closely with engineering and scheduler

Education:

Accredited trade school certification and or associates or bachelor's degree.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
