Position Purpose: |

This position assists with a variety of assigned projects under the guidance of senior staff. The position will develop an understanding of the assigned department and health care administration profession. |

Nature and Scope: |
|
Depending upon business needs, position may be exposed to a variety of business functions through project-based assignments. Senior staff will review and oversee any work product or project. Position will perform all aspects of assignments as needed. Accounts Payable department works with every single department in our organization. It provides our interns a unique opportunity to have exposure to all aspects of our business. By learning our Finance/Purchasing system our interns can help with projects in AP, Accounting and Purchasing. Our environment is friendly and nurturing which allows our interns to learn, grow and have a positive view of Renown. They become our own marketing ambassadors at UNR and community at large. This position does not provide patient care. |

Minimum Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred |

Education: |
Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Junior or Senior class standing in pursuit of bachelors in business, or MBA students. College-level knowledge of the English language, including the ability to read, write, and speak English at college level. |
Experience: |
Previous experience in a business environment helpful, but not necessary. |

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word and have the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc. 40 WPM. |
