What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Clinical Social Worker- Crisis Care Center position at Renown Health?

We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to contribute to transforming the delivery of mental health and addiction crisis services for Washoe County by establishing a licensed crisis stabilization center, Crisis Care Center, as an alternative to receive adults in need of triage, assessment, psychiatric stabilization, and/or alcohol and drug detoxification.

Position Details:
- Full-time employed position with Renown Medical Group as a Provider
- Meet a significant community need and improve access to mental health and addiction treatment by connecting adults to the right care.
- Reduce the number of adult psychiatric and addiction patients being treated in Renown Emergency Departments to open beds for other individuals with medical needs.
- Maintain communication with patients treated at Crisis Care Center for at least one year to track recidivism and progress of care coordination.
- EMR: EPIC
- Formal Academic Affiliation with University of Nevada, Reno School Medicine/Renown
- Guaranteed Salary – MGMA LCSW based on experience.

Position Requirements:
- Experience: 2 years as a licensed clinician in mental health setting
- Licensure: Ability to obtain and maintain State of Nevada licensure as LCSW
