Job Summary
The Technology Licensing Analyst in the Office of Intellectual Property and Technology Licensing (IPTL) plays a crucial role in the transfer of cutting-edge intellectual property (IP) from Rensselaer to the marketplace. Collaborating closely with the IP Manager and Licensing Associate, the Technology Licensing Analyst will be responsible for licensing and marketing IP, engaging with key stakeholders including researchers and startups, and managing the IP portfolio, including iEdison compliance.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., law, business, science, engineering)
Two (2) or more years in experience in technology transfer, patent law, or related areas
Relevant combinations of education, training and experience may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in relevant field (e.g., law, business, science, engineering)

Expected hiring range: $60,000 - $75,000
