Responsibilities
What do our Warehouse Associates do?
Warehouse Associates are responsible for daily operations in the Ambius distribution center. This role is directly involved in all phases of the warehouse operations including customer service, inventory management, co-worker interactions, and warehouse maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform warehouse operations including plant & hard goods preparations for local deliveries, inventory management, order tracking, and vendor shipping/receiving and warehouse cleanliness.
- Fill daily orders as prescribed, communicating changes to management & co-workers.
- Receive and track hard goods movement throughout the facility.
- Maintain plant and hard goods quality & report inadequacies when found.
- Organize plants and hard goods based on seasonal needs.
- Perform monthly inventory and other tracking reports as required.
- Participate in monthly branch meetings and departmental meetings as scheduled.
What do you need?
- High school diploma or GED
- At least two years of warehouse or customer service experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings and weekends when needed.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. repeatedly during the day with ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Detail oriented, energetic and a multi-tasker
- Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Able to work independently and enjoy hands-on work
- Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
- Must pass pre-employment background screen
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass motor vehicle record search
