Overview
Renuity is seeking a Safety and Fleet Director who will be responsible for ensuring a safe, healthy work environment throughout each Titan Operating Company. To achieve this, the Safety Compliance Officer must perform inspections to assess the risks that may threaten workers' safety, health and well-being while on the job. They also ensure that workplaces are in compliance with occupational, environmental and health regulations by testing equipment and machines, and identifying potential hazards. They further help design safe workspaces and report on workplace conditions, suggest improvements to increase both the safety and efficiency of organization. The Officer will oversee the Safety Committee program, along with the Fleet Safety Committee program.

What You'll Do:
- Performs other job- Thorough knowledge of federal and local standards, OSHA standards
- Conduct regular weekly/monthly Safety Meetings and educate employees pertaining to Company rules and policies, OSHA laws and regulation, environmental issues, hazardous material handling, etc
- Must have knowledge of CPR, standard first aid, and fire prevention
- Conduct inspections, identify safety problems, and implement corrective measures
- Ensure EPA compliance and enforcement throughout each operating company
- Continual evaluation of site working conditions and weather conditions
- Assist in post-incident investigation and provide documentation
- Maintain and adhere to jobsite accident prevention plan
- Implement an activity hazard analysis for specific phases of work
- Work with company’s insurers to ensure safety best practices implemented throughout the company
- Create and update company written safety manuals that are used as part of safety training process
- Ensure a DMV policy is implemented and enforced at all companies
- Visit each company division and branch office to conduct safety trainings
- Overseeing the procurement and maintaining of vehicles for the company’s nationwide field operations
- Ensuring all vehicles are registered and licensed
- Finding ways to optimize efficiency with respect to the Company’s fleet, and develop a standard vehicle outfitting strategy for our divisions
- Developing strategies for greater fuel efficiency and oversee gas card programs
- Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection
- Complying with U.S. Department of Transport laws and regulations
- Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency
- Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules
- Monitoring driver behavior and ensuring a high level of customer service
- Decide on the use of company-wide GPS systems to monitor drivers, maintain visibility of our assets, and use GPS data to improve driver behavior
- Work cooperatively with functional department heads and field operators to develop forward looking fleet capacity needs

- Current OSHA Trainer Card (30-hour OSHA training & 10-hour OSHA training), Disaster Training Card preferred
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, engineering, construction, occupational safety and health, or related field
- Solid knowledge of state and local statutes and ordinances on fire safety and prevention, loss control, hazardous chemicals, building, electrical, noise pollution and the environment
- Up to date on latest local and state regulation and guideline changes
- Two years of previous experience in comprehensive workplace safety and compliance programs
- Management experience · Fluent in Spanish and English
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Will work closely with management
- Proficient in computer technology and Microsoft Office applications
- A valid driver's license and auto insurance is required, along with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely, legally and consistently operate an automobile for traveling
