Consumer Finance Software Manager

We are seeking a Consumer Finance Software Manager for our Operations Analytics and Support team. The Consumer Finance Software Manager will oversee the Software Support team and provide daily support to Republic Finance team members in response to incoming requests related to branch loan office operations, new state expansion, software installs and various software testing needs. They will work closely with our loan software vendor on issues and improvements and represent the needs of internal partners like Operations, Credit Risk and Legal & Compliance to ensure our system is fully accurate and compliant, meets the needs of our customers and has a focus on efficiency and clarity for our internal operations teams. This will be a very collaborative role critical to our day-to-day operations in servicing our customers as well as being integral to Republic’s continuing focus on growth, automation, and process improvement. • Assist in testing software, installing updates, documenting issues, and ensuring errors are corrected.
• Work with internal partners to understand software needs and translate those needs into requests of our software vendor.
• Partner closely with our software vendor, internal team members and the program manager of software delivery to ensure appropriate prioritization of Republic’s software requests.
• Create clear requirements for our requests of the software vendor in partnership with requesters and other partners.
• Create thorough and detailed software test plans and diligently document results, following through on all issues until all errors are proven resolved through additional testing.
• Troubleshoot and log resolutions for any incoming requests received from the Republic team members and work with the software vendor through resolution.
• Troubleshoot software issues that may be the result of programming issues.
• Contribute to special projects which will require the support of our loan administration system and potentially new functionality delivered by our software vendor.
• Effectively communicate plans and schedules to team members and management.
• Ensure required updates to forms and programming to accommodate law changes are completed in a timely manner and tested thoroughly.
• Lead and develop team members in the day-to-day performance of their duties, longer-term project support and their ability to increase scope and responsibility.
• Establish and maintain a close relationship with IT Application Support and clearly understand the interconnection of the functions.

• Five years of experience in a Consumer Finance Branch or Loan Office. 
• Associates degree in Accounting or Finance a plus, but not required. Equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to excel in the essential duties of the job as listed above.
• Ability to make sound, independent judgments within established guidelines.
