Job Title: Assembler

Location: Mayville, WI

DIRECT HIRE

1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Monday to Thursday, with mandatory OT that can extend the M-F work hours up to 10 hours.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Candidate will perform a variety of jobs fitting together manufactured and purchased parts into subassemblies or complete products.
• These products can be mechanical, electrical or a combination of both.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Read and understand blue prints and routings to produce parts from them to the required specifications.
• Responsible for the quality of the assemblies produced.
• Perform first piece inspection and subsequent inspections to ensure overall quality.
• Responsible for the care of routine maintenance and keeping the work area neat and clean.
• Follow all rules regarding machine operation and machine guarding.
• Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality and safety.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess the skill and ability to assemble manufactured and purchased parts into subassemblies or complete products.
• Must be equipped with all the required tools to perform the functions of their job.
• Able to operate assembly equipment such as rivet machines, assembly presses and power tools.
• Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.
• Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly.

New Hire Incentive Bonus:

• New hires are eligible for a $1000 bonus distributed over 3 payments:
• $200 after 3 months (given no disciplinary actions)
• $400 after 6 months (given no disciplinary actions)
• $400 after 12 months (given no disciplinary actions)
