Contract
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Senior to Team Lead level Operator / System Admin
2. Local to Johnston, RI, as the role will require some level of onsite and emergency on-call support.
3. Good Communication Skills – strong documentation skills
4. Experience/understanding of:
a. Core Inf server/networking/ rack in stack etc.
b. Management of UPS, PDU, and general Data center tools
c. Experience global power-down remote support for office-based computer room
d. Mainframe, CA7, UC4 experience
e. Alert and event monitoring
f. Ability to manage small tasks in Server, Network, Enterprise backup, etc. Mainframe, CA7, UC4 experience is a plus.
• Provides Technical Leadership and expertise
• CIS based on the design provided
• Design & Implement CIS
• Responsible for services in terms of
• incident and problem resolution and other applicable ITIL processes,
• Knowledge Management, New Technology absorption, training and improvement initiatives within the technology tower. Business / Customer
•Understand and articulate complex problems related to the specific technology
• Provide business development support by assisting in RFP/ RFI response drafting, presentations, collateral creation and formulating recommendations. Support pre-sales and create marketing collateral such case studies and capability deck
• Capture and present project’s capabilities to prospective clients in a way that highlights the unique selling proposition of solutions
• Interface with community network to retain technology competitiveness.
• Work with the client team to address escalations.
• Implement change requests and engineering tasks.
• Lead the technical discussions in customer governance calls
• Interact with the user / customer / first level management Project / Process
• Handle specific technologies within projects
• Contribute to HLD, LLD, Implementation and test plans.
• Participate in technical audits.
• Identify opportunities for automation, standardization and stabilization of environment
